Tuesday, November 20, 2001 Ahh time for another blog...it's so nice to have a little place to retreat to..for real I'm surprised at myself for keeping up with this. But now I'm happy cause i have a comment (blogback) section. That's operating correctly! Thanks to chrissy once again. Where would this blogspot be without you? And I'm so happy you're an official part of CBC now. Congrats on your baptism. It was nice to hear that 20 some others got baptized along with you and near ten tranferred their membership I think it is? Anywho to recap my weekend Friday, some new friends that I have met in my mandarin class took me to go eat sushi. They're a group of indonesians and a number of them know mandarin. It's really strange to me. They said a number of them are from singapore. One of them is qualingual (sp). And then a number of them are trilingual. Sigh if I only knew so many languages. But it was very fun time. Three of the guys that went are in my class and one came to pick me up...so off we went to One World Market in Novi to meet up with about another 6 or 7 indonesians. They're language is so cool soundin...cept I just kinda sat there and had no clue what was going on. It was the first time that I have ever went to One World Market...it's sooo good...sushi...YUM! It's like Noble Fish but bigger and nicer...and I do believe it's the same owners. Then some of us went shopping at twelve oaks...and then they dropped me off back here. Then continuing on that night after they dropped me off at the IV house for CCF that night I didn't get finished there until I don't know what time...playing taboo baby...I have so much fun every time I play that game...and then cookin' for my hungry college kids and seeing them eat...I just love feeding people...ahh good times good times... For a second there I completely forgot what I did Saturday. But now I remember...it was SEOUL TRAIN BABY! I was rather excited for the whole event. I had my homecoming dress from last year...which is a good thing cause we girls pay good money (lots of it too) for dresses that are so fancy that they just sit in our closets...hence being about to use it more than once is a good thing. It was a hectic night though cause a group of 9 girls getting ready together can be pretty chaotic. Then after getting myself ready I had to do more girls hair and then one's make up. But that's where memories are made right? And getting ready is one of the best parts. But for the rest of the night I wasn't even dancing much one reason maybe because I was cramping...and then not much music I liked....*sigh* maybe it was talked up a little too much...oh well it was good while it lasted posted by Sewa at 5:44:00 AM # |
