Thoughts of a Growing Christian

I went to watch "A Walk to Remember Yesterday" with five other girls. While three boys went to watch "Kung Pow" or however you spell it because I've never even seen the commercial for it. But I was so psyched to go and see the movie. Even though I had no clue what it was about. But if there were three words to describe me I would simply put it as "sappy sentimental sucker." I am the epitomy of a sap. I can listen to them gushy songs over and over and over again. My favorite movie is "Ever After." And it's been my favorite movie since whenever. But it's ranking might slip because of the oh so wonderful movie...."A Walk to Remember." Now on the way to the theater we had eight people in the van. So while sitting in shot gun I was bored...which led me to thinking..."oh dear a bunch of girls going to a chick flick....we're all gonna cry" So what did I do? I folded up two kleenex for each of the girls. And they all were like "no were not gonna cry and even if we do we're not gonna cry that hard." So Sam ended up holding on to the whole four stacks while I held onto my two kleenex. Well at the theater I sat at the very end near the aisle. And let me tell you as much as I want to watch that movie again...I will NEVER watch it in the theater again. Why you ask? Because during the movie...I had to MUFFLE my SOBBING and that is so hard when all I wanted to do was just BAWL. And then at times I would want to bust out laughing because they were all making fun of my so bad. That I couldn't help but laugh and cry at the same time. But mind you "silence is golden" Oh goodness I really really had to literally put my poofy vest over my entire face to muffle my noises. And I just kept shrinking lower and lower into my seat because this movie just made me so sad! It is SUCH a tear jerker. And guess who ended up using not only my two kleenex...but the ENTIRE stack of it? Yeah...pretty much me. And the other girls...they said they WERE gonna cry but they were so busying laughing at me that they couldn't cry. Isn't that sad? I was seriously a waterfall. I want to see it again so bad. Does anyone else agree when I say Shane West is incredibly gorgeous? And where are guys like that for me huh? *sigh* And when the credits came rolling up...and I heard the song "Cry" by Mandy come on...I just choked up..."OH NO" and started bawling all over again. The good thing though is that as soon as I exited the theater I just let it go...boy did that feel good. Oh a small reccommendation...GO SEE THE MOVIE!

Side note as soon as anyone knows when the tape is coming out...LET ME KNOW. I already have nearly all the songs from the movie =D.

Oh goodness have you ever had that experience the inside of your mouth really hurts? The roof of my mouth is in so much pain! I don't know what happened. It's not like I purposely went and scratched it all up or something. And it's not like I burned it on soup or anything lately. But it hurts so bad! Wah. =(
