Tuesday, October 21, 2003 Scarred for Life Cassie is finishing up some dishes from making cookies. Denise and I are just bummin'. Lizzie is in her room about to take out her contacts. Ok scenario established. I walk into Lizzie's room and decide that I need a dose of comfort from her fantabulous bed. (seriously one of the best beds in the world with a down comforter in the most comfortable duvet comforter and the best pillows ever!) So I curl up and wrap myself and tell Denise she should try the bed out too. Lizzie meanwhile moves some stuff of the bed and proceeds to take out her contacts. All of a sudden I feel something on my face...it was NOT hair. I repeat NOT hair. Oh and let me specify where....right at the left side of my lower lip! I brush it away thinking oh crap it's a bug...that was definately a bug...please tell me it wasn't a... Me: "I think a spider just crawled on me." (proceeding to get up to look around to see if there's anything on the bed Denise: "Are you sure it wasn't your hair?" Lizzie meanwhile is in the bathroom with her door open...if you've seen our apt we've got our own bathrooms so she can see everything goin' on Me:starting to wonder if it really was my hair then decide to poke myself with the little hair that was hanging out of my pig tails...definately NOT the same sensation....proceed to look further Me: I still don't see anything in front of me but just as I turn around a little more...and my eyes start to make out what's on the cushion... "AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Denise and I then do this matrix like thing and we both jump so high and so far that she has in one leap made it out of lizzie's room and I have in one leap gathered lizzie's comforter and made it into the bathroom behind Lizzie. I've also scared the crap out of Lizzie and nearly made her, I quote "Holy S*** woman I seriously messed my pants!" end quote. That's right a BIG ASS SPIDER (size=btwn nickel and quater) crawled on my chin/lips!!!! EWWWWW!!!! AHHHHHH!!!! WAHHHHH!!!! UGHHHHHH!!!!!!!! I was not mistaken...what I felt was CERTAINLY not hair. Meanwhile there's chaos and I'm going hysterical and Lizzie puts on her glasses and goes to see the spider... Lizzie: "Holy S*** that thing is HUGE!!! Denise would you go get me a cup or glass or something?" Me:still hysterical hugging Lizzie's blankets "That thing was ON MY FACE EWWWWW!!!! AHHH!!!!" Lizzie then proceeded to trap it in a glass and wanted to free it!!! Oh HECK NAW!!! I was gonna smother that thing. I repeat SMOTHER AND KILL! She convinced me to at least kill it outside. She put it out on our patio and I brought my lethal addidas sandal and pounded and smacked and then smeared that sucker. UGH *shudder* How did it ever get on my face???? *whimper* *whine* I am now scarred for life with the memory of how it feels to have a BIG NICKEL+ SIZED spider crawl right on your lips. There is something about them that just scares me to no end. It was literally a blood curdling scream...or one to make someone or everyone jump a million feet in the air. I dunno what it is with them crawling on me ie. "why me?" But you bet your bottoms that hideous thing paid the price very soon after. Ugh...stay away ugly hideous things...leave me alone! *roar* (really there's a *whimper* underneath) Or you shall face my lethal sandals/shoes!!! posted by Sewa at 1:08:00 AM # Monday, October 20, 2003 My dad is quitting smoking!!! Wahoo!!! I know it's gonna be tough but I hope he overcomes it(he's going cold turkey). And after being in phsiology and learning th neurophysiological effects of nicotine I know it's gonna be one hard battle. But it can be done. He's been smoking for I'd say 30 years plus along with alot of his friends. But alot of them are quitting and they've been successful. His two brothers/my uncles who probably all started at the same time he did too are now ex-smokers wahoo for them! Best wishes dad. Went to see Kill Bill over the weekend. Yeahhh, def mixed feelings here. I'm okay with blood and guts and flying limbs but this was just over-kill (no pun intended). And I wanna know what happens in the second one now...I'm impatient about these things. Probably why I'm such a sucker for chinese soaps/sitcoms. But I also saw the preview for the Matrix Revolution...I wanna see that so bad. Granted the second wasn't super duper great, naobi's sunglasses and everyone elses super cool clothes made it all ok ^_^. Nov. 5th!
