Thoughts of a Growing Christian

I spoke with a friend today. It wasn't one of those impersonal IM convos or e-mail or anything. It was heart to heart and I miss those. I've known him for about 7-8 years now? I didn't really get to know him though till about 5-6(?) years ago. It's funny how someone can touch your life in so many different ways. I'm so different because of him. I really appreciate him though. All the times I talk to him I feel like I babble and make no sense. But he still listens no matter what time I need to talk. He really understands and no matter what I tell him he doesn't make me feel stupid or pass judgement. Sometimes I feel ashamed to admit things to him though but he can see through me as if I'm a window pane so it's worse if I don't tell him. He's even seen and heard me cry...I hate it when that happens. But ya know, sometimes I can just sit there and I feel as though he already knows what I'm going to say. He has this ability to calm me or pacify me making me feel so small. But sometimes I feel as though I don't return the favor enough...or ever for all the times he's been there for me and pulled me through. I want to say thanks to him. Thanks for everything.

Oh, let me introduce my friend...

He's my savior and my God.

Some names I have been called besides Sewa:

1.Sawa (sao-wuh)
2.Seela (c-lah)
3.Sheila (repeatedly might I add by the same person in a span of 1 minute after I kept correcting them)
4.Shoowa (shoe-wuh)
5.Seahawk (this one has got to be one of Cassie's favorites...I must admit...it was really funny)
6.Szechuan
7.Sacajawea
8.Sasquatch (this one nearly made me pee in my pants laughing)

Lizzie's dad is so funny...6-8 are all from him. After 20 years of having my name murdered, once even to the point I didn't recognize it was my name that was being called, I have come to the conclusion that for some people, my two syllable name that is simply pronounced "c-wuh" is too hard. -_- No I'm just playing...it's interesting and entertaining! Soohak even took the second syllable of my name once and put it with all letters of the alphabet...ie. d-wuh, z-wuh, b-wuh...etc. I guess being shafted (both of my brothers have english names with their chinese names as their middles names...I don't have a middle name) in the naming process has it's upsides. ^_^

To Lizzie: Congratulations!!! You're a MSU Alumna now! (We'll have to make you an iron on t-shirt or something *wink*)

To Cassie: Happy 21st Birthday!!! (we'll get the real party started after finals ^_^)
