Wednesday, April 14, 2004 Some things girls do to look a little more "finished" -wax/tweeze/shave legs, arms, underarms, eyebrows, upperlip area what have you -curl, blow dry, tease, crimp, etc. their hair (some curl eyelashes too) -pedicures & manicures -exfoliate & buff & pummice knees...elbows...heels... -face peels, face masks, facials -more creams, ointments, lotions, toners than you can imagine -more hair products that you can imagine (ie. frizz ease, bed head stuff, etc) -those supermoisturizing gloves and footie things from bath & body -daily make-up routine if she wears make-up -paint toe nails or finger nails -eat/drink things that are supposed to help make our hair shinier or skin younger looking or what have you -we buy matching tid bits...ie. hats, shoes, purses, scarves The many things that guys do.... -shave...if they bother to that day -shower -perhaps gel hair (those spikes must be strategically placed ya know) -put on clean clothes -ok well maybe put on clean clothes that match.... Hmmm...and some guys wonder why some girls take so long to get ready. posted by Sewa at 12:01:00 AM # Tuesday, April 13, 2004 The funniest name I've heard for a candy bar goes to.... Bubu Lubu!!! Teeheehee just say it as you see it...over and over again...booboolooboobooboolooboobooboolooboo. Although it didn't seem quite as funny to Rodolfo (mexican guy from work) when he gave it to me and told me what it was and I just started cracking up. Whoops. I wonder if it means anything in spanish. It's just a chocolate candy bar with marshmallow and strawberry jelly filling. It's pretty good for you candy lovers out there...perhaps I can go buy more if you wanna try. And he also had me try guanabana juice Good stuff. Was going to run the opposite direction at first cause it looked like "the forbidden fruit"/durian/jack fruit/something that reminds me of stinky poot people like to call fruit. posted by Sewa at 1:50:00 AM # |
