Thoughts of a Growing Christian | |||
Wednesday, May 26, 2004 Here are some pics from the bday...excuse the randomness of some of these Memories And for some pics of Jon & Laura's wedding please visit my brother's online albums Thanks again Chris for being my date for the evening and keeping me company! posted by Sewa at 11:44:00 PM # Thank you so so so much to each and every one of you who remembered me on my 21st yesterday. I was so touched and felt so blessed from all the IMs, calls, and e-mails/e-cards. A most heart felt thanks to you A-listers *wink* who joined me for dinner and you all looked splendid! (We'll have to get a bajillion marachino cherries and just chill again sometime ^_^) And what did I have to drink? Hmm well at the restaurant I had a raspberry lemonade. It was so good with a fresh wedge of lemon! Then back at the apt...Mandy bought me a bottle of Chardonnay...um it was supposed to taste fruity? I have to acquire a taste for wine. I had about two ounces and my esophagus felt hot. And then Lizzie made me a fuzzy navel and after that a really strong coke and rum. I didn't finish it but s'all good. And ya know what topped off the night??? Besides all the awesome gifts I got...Lizzie and Cassie got me...(I love these girls to bits btw)...drum roll please... A Ticket to the JOHN MAYER & MAROON 5 CONCERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's right. On August 6th, 2004 Lizzie, Cassie and I will be at the DTE soaking in these awesome awesome performers. Thanks so much you two. And I also loved absolutely LOVED all my other presents...you all know me too well. It was a most memorable day spent with some fabulous people. ^_^ What more could I ask for? posted by Sewa at 10:54:00 PM # Tuesday, May 25, 2004 I just looked at the forecast for the week...it's predicted to storm everyday once again except wednesday. Right...does anyone remember what the sun looks like? The torrential downpours have caused campus to be flooded all over which I think it looks kinda cool to see the river come up so far but I'm sure property owners aren't such big fans. And it's cute to see ducks swimming where the cows and sheep usually graze. And genetics class stinks. posted by Sewa at 1:51:00 AM # |
